My editor will start the editing process on June 6th!!! Hopefully in less than a week I will have her initial review of my book. Then after about two weeks, I should have her 1st complete comprehensive edit of my book. From their I will make my changes and send my book out to my beta readers! Before the end of June I am hoping to have all my feed back from my beta readers and my editor together for the final rough draft. I will once again hand it over to my editor to see if any changes are needed. Hopefully, if all goes as planned, I will start to upload it onto all the e-book sites for purchase beginning in July! I will have the book free for probably a month or more then bump the price to 99cents. It will all depend on the overall success of the book when I will start the second book in the series. I am super excited to get this process going! I can't wait to hear what my editor suggests and what my beta readers think of my book.

I just want to thank everyone for all of their love and support during this process. Without you pushing and guiding me through this, I don't know if I would have been able to do it. I wrote the book because I felt like it was something different that was missing from the vampire book community. The story came to me and I felt the need to put it on paper or word doc. (however you want to say it). I hope my readers will see the difference this book has to main stream vampire books. I personally believe that Indie Authors write the best books. They are in a class all of their own. There is no giant publishing company telling you what to read and how it should be written. My book is just that - MY BOOK! I get to make up the characters and I get to have them do whatever I fell is best for the book. The more I think about things the less I want to pitch my book to the main stream publishing companies. I would have to find one that was not going to change my ideas or force me to fit into the mold they think people like to read. Trust be it told, INDIE AUTHORS do it best!

Not much is going on with Falling right this minute. My editor won't start working on it till June 6th. But I think I want to change a few things before then. I know... I know... I really need to stop but something just came to me and I think it will help the book. I am super excited to get it back from her so that I can hand it to my beta readers (Carrie K., Zeena K., Rin C., Kat, Ashely E., Tiffany R., Deann M., Grace R., & Brittany R.). I think I am more excited to have them read the book than the editor. Thank you girls for offering your time and services! I really appreciate it! I have a few friends, a few bloggers, and a few random people all in the mix so that I can get a good idea of what needs to be fixed or what needs to be enhanced etc. This way I can have some unbiased opinions on what I need to change. Those suggestions along with my editor's recommendations will be rolled up into my ideas to create the final product!!!

I am torn
on whether or not I want to start writing now or wait until I get all of my edits done with Falling. I don't want to be distracted by either one. I think it's probably best that I hold off on writing until I can complete Falling and put it on the market. Then I haven't decided if I want to write my murder mystery thriller book or the second book "vampire cowboy" book, Crash (working title). I have tons of ideas of what I want to happen and where I want the second book to go. I will need to do some research because I will say this much, there will be traveling :D Choices Choices Choices. Mostly, I think, it will depend on the outcome of Falling. If I have a loud outcry for answers then I might start Crash next. I guess only time will tell!

Anyways... I have an interview tomorrow for the city's arts and activities center! It's on a temporary position, I'm guessing throughout the summer, but I think it will be good for me. I'm excited to be working with kids and families etc. I love arts and crafts so this would be the best summer job ever! Plus it would still give me plenty of time to work on writing and once summer is over I will have a better idea about how my writing will be. IE. full-time career or part-time hobby. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... let it by full-time career or at least part-time career! Husband's on his way home, first time I think I've seen him while the sun was out in over a week (he is in the army). Going to spend some time with my love then finish reading the fae war series.

"Man! Can you write! And goodness, are you prolific! And a born storyteller, I think. Those are all great things. No need to panic. You will get good reviews." - Jill (editor)

I am over the moon excited! You have no freaking idea how happy I am right now! Woooh-hoooh!

I finished my revisions of Falling last night! I changed a few things here and there... I think I made it better, but we shall see. I will be e-mailing it to my editor tonight after one last read through. I am so nervous! This will be the first time anyone has read my book from start to finish. My stomach is flopping around just thinking about it! What if people hate it? What if no one even wants to read it? What if my editor gives it back to me and says, "you need serious help, this book sucks!" I doubt Jill will say that but its still in the back of my mind. I am worried that it will be a failure :( I don't care if a make a penny off the book as long as people enjoy reading it and want more from me. Falling will leaving you saying WTF and begging for the second book to get answers. Hope this will make people bond with my characters and wander about their outcomes. I have picked several beta readers but could still use a few more. If anyone is interested please e-mail me at [email protected]!

I have 80% of the book written and edited thus far. Tomorrow I am going to finishing writing the rest of the book and edit the rough draft.

As soon as I am done with my initial edits then I get to send it to a professional to review. My copyeditor will be able to help structure my chapters and smooth out any rough spots with character development and grammar.

I am looking forward to starting my book cover! I have so many ideas rushing in my head of how I want it to look. But you are going to have to wait and see once it's all done. No giveaways just yet!

Once I get the book self-published then I will be sending out copies to local publishing companies trying to snag a book deal. I already have plans for a spin off for Rosalee's bestfriend Zoey. Also, I have a murder/mystery book planned to write. Not sure which one I want to write first. We shall see!
